New Year Update

Due to a few personal problems over the last few months I’ve been very slack answering emails, updating the Be My Enemy news items on the web and have been very hard to contact. I know this hasn’t been ideal.

So with a new year comes a new chance to start afresh and move on. I’ve never been one for new years resolutions but the turning of the date from 2011 to 2012 looks like a good point to start afresh. There is plenty to look forward to this year, finishing the new BME album, new band members joining, rehearsing, playing shows and finally getting this second album released. I’m very happy with the songs I have completed for the second Be My Enemy album even though the album is currently a few months behind schedule.

Also this year I’ll be producing the new ‘Jesus Loves Amerika’ album as well as another couple of other exciting projects I’ve lined up on the horizon.

Phil

Free Caustic Vs Be My Enemy cover ‘Oxyacetylene’

Grab a free MP3 of Caustic and Be My Enemy covering the Cubanate song ‘OXYACETYLENE’ over at the Caustic web site http://www.tellmeaboutmyuterus.com/

This track was originally performed at Sheffield’s RESISTANZ FESTIVAL in April, with Cubanate/Be My Enemy‘s PHIL BARRY surprising the crowd and performing with Caustic. Needless to say the response was huge so we put together an “official” version of the cover as a FREE DOWNLOAD for everyone, with Caustic’s live bassist at that gig Keef Baker contributing his parts as well!
